The legal bases of the data protection are to be found in the BDSG n.F. (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz neue Fassung), the DS-GVO (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung), and the TMG (Telemediengesetz). The data collection is carried out within the scope of Article 6 Abs. 1 a and f DS-GVO.
The provider (or rather his Webspace-Provider) collects data about every access to his website (so-called server log files). The access data contains:

Personal data will only be collected, used and transmitted by the provider if this is permitted by law (Article 6 Abs. 1 f DS-GVO) or the user has given consent to the data collection (Artikel 6 Abs. 1 a DS-GVO).
